Description of the house
The dining area is part of the lounge and separated from the kitchen by a serving counter.
Eight people fit comfortably round the table and more than sufficient crockery is supplied.
High chairs can be rented from the country club.
The lounge is light and comfortable with a sofa and three armchairs. We have a LAN connection which give you a broadband connection. You need to bring a computer with an ethernet card and through the reception at the country club you can buy different access packages. The TV channels on offer are BBC1, Eurosport, Skysport, CNN, French, German channels and ITV is most of the time. A DVD and a CD player is an extra which is only mended or replaced once a year.
The kitchen is well equipped to cater for eight people, the fridge is large with a small freezer compartment. There is a Kenwood mixer, scales, hand mixer and other utensils for cooking and baking. The stove has four gas rings and the oven is fan assisted. In Souillac, there is a Le Clerc supermarket offering a first rate meat and fish counter. Fresh vegetables and cakes are always available. Sunday shopping is not as common in Souillac as it is in many parts of England.
Logs can be bought from the Country Club.
